NOW OR NEVER
What are we here for if not to improve
The world that we discovered at our birth;
There is no nobler motive to behoove
Us than create a culture of great worth.
Our history shows us Golden Ages gone
Beginning with the Paradise we lost
That Scripture tells of at our species’ dawn,
Since when our voyage has been tempest tossed.
It is our task at last to rectify
The damages our waywardness has wrought
And with the ways of sanity comply,
Living in love as happily as we ought.
Such is the message Scriptures have advised
That now or never must be realized.
