MISSING THE POINT

If Jesus is the finger pointing out
The Way we all must travel through our lives
(As does the Buddha and Lao-tzu), a scout
To lead us toward a consciousness that thrives,
Then let’s be on our way and not malinger
Or grow confused by worshipping the finger.
