EVER CLEVER

                              Though bolder once and a great vaunter,
                              He’s older now and grown gaunter;

                              While formerly he’d tease and taunt her,
                              Now normally he doesn’t want her;

                              He’d rather take a stroll and saunter
                              Than bother her and be her haunter.
