YULE TIDINGS

          That Jesus is the Son of God is no
          Big deal: so are we all the progeny
          Of that Intelligence which here below,
          And everywhere, holds its supremacy;

          But it was He, of all who lowly plod,
          Who came to recognize in his design
          The supernatural handiwork of God
          And knew himself, as well as we, divine.

          So now it’s left for us to realize
          What Jesus knew: it is our mission to
          Discover how to flourish and grow wise,
          Doing to others as we’d have them do

               In turn to us, which is the Golden Rule
               Commemorated every year at Yule.
