THE GOOD OLD DAYS

My habits now move smoothly in their grooves,
And I’m too old to take another route;
I go as continuity behooves
And for new-fangled ways don’t give a hoot.

Call me conservative, a hide-bound fool,
But innovation just distresses me;
On any issue, know that I’m Old School:
What’s best is always how it used to be.
